General Information
Brighton Comic Expo 2005 is allowing for 200+ exhibitors in the
seafront Hilton Metropole's impressive exhibition hall, the
Oxford Suite, which can accommodate a flow through of up to 3,000
people.

The Oxford Suite is, without doubt, the city's most prestigeous location
for major events, hosting everything from political party
conferences to multinational summits.

To enhance the image of the comics industry, we have been able to
secure for major exhibitors purpose-built exhibition
stands at an attractive rate to keep costs competitive with events where
little more than a trestle table is provided. By Expo
combining booths with regular display tables for artists, traders and
indie/small press, the entire image of the UK industry is
considerably raised.

A large licensed cafe-bar and seating area is adjacent to the exhibition
hall, serving breakfasts, lunches, snacks and drinks
as well as hosting art exhibitions and a tournament gaming area.
Trade Information

A unique feature of the Oxford Suite is its wonderful gallery area, a
mezzanine floor around the entire hall, which will
accomodate signings and portfolio reviews as well as providing a
bird's eye view of the entire exhibition below.

For preferential positioning, early bookings are strongly recommended.

For easy access and identification, all the booths will be
numbered (cross-referenced with the
floor plan being given to all Expo attendees) and each booth
will be set up with exhibitor name plates.
So, when booking, be sure to tell us what name you wanted
printed on your booth(s).
BOOTH WALK-IN FACILITY


These booths really are fantastic. If you're a key player, or wanting
to be, they are much smarter for your business than trestle tables
and, for the extra cost, they multiply your available display area
tremendously. Not only do you get a regular table for the front of
your booth, but you also have a massive back wall display area
plus side walls and by placing your table against the back of the
booth, the facility for customers to walk into your booth area rather
than be jostled in the aisles. That means, as well as a more direct
selling space, with its self-contained area, you get four times the
space you would have from a single table and the opportunity to
make your company stand out as a mover and shaker.

Upon invoicing of the full amount, UK exhibitors will have VAT added at 17.5% for all taxable items. No tax is applied to invoices for overseas
exhibitors.

The table size of 2m x 0.75 m (6ft x 2.5 ft) is the same for stand-alone dealer/artist/small press use and for booths.

To book your exhibition space, simply complete this form and return it to us along with a 25% deposit of your total requirements.

Any additional exhibitor passes required may be ordered at £5 each (up to a limit of two extra per table/booth).

Upon invoicing, UK exhibitors will have VAT added at 17.5% for all taxable items. No tax is applied to invoices for overseas exhibitors.

Overseas exhibitors: One pound sterling is approximately two US dollars and 1.5 euros. Check for exact rate of exchange when booking.

Cancellations: Full refund of deposit will be made on any cancellations in writing received prior to balance due date. On cancellations
made after September 25th, refunds will only be issued in the event of the reselling of your space.

Rates given are for the full two days Saturday-Sunday November 19-20th plus access to the venue on Friday November 18 for exhibitors to
unload into our secure storage area. Booth/table setup will only be on Saturday from 6.00am for an event opening of 11:00am unless by prior
arrangement.

Overnight storage in the Hilton Metropole on the night of Sunday 20th November is a free service being offered should exhibitors wish
to leave Monday, November 21st.

Upon receipt of this booking form with 25% net deposit (excluding VAT), exhibitor's space is guaranteed.

All exhibitors receive a free listing in the Souvenir Magazine and on the Comic Expo website. We will inform you of all other advertising
and promotional opportunities in due course.
