NCsoft Europe is pleased to announce that it will be exhibiting at this year's Comic Expo in Brighton, giving attendees a chance to play and see current and future NCsoft online games. DOCTOR WHO: FROM FRAME TO FRAME
With the tenth Doctor soon to debut on BBC tv, Comic Expo has invited a group of experts and celebrities to discuss the past, present and future of everybody's favourite time and space traveller -- in print and on screen. As well as a team from Panini's Doctor Who Magazine, the panel will include the author of last season's best episode Paul("Father's Day") Cornell plus a few surprise guests.

FABULOUS FURRY FREAK BROTHERS: THE MOVIE
We are particularly pleased to welcome Bolex Brothers, the award-winning animators, with their “comic cannabis conspiracy caper”, Grass Roots. Not only will we be screening the showreel of work completed so far on the feature film, but Andy Leighton and his team will be on hand to talk about the project. With the strip’s Texan creator Gilbert Shelton also in attendance, it should make an un-missable panel!

THE BIZ GOES MEGA
The larger-than-life artist produces larger than life art -- live at the Brighton Comic Expo! Simon Bisley is asking us for a ladder, buckets of paint and massive art boards so a maximum number of people can watch him produce instant paintings across the November 19-20 weekend. Instead of sitting behind a table, where only one or two people at a time can ask and watch him produce small sketches, this is live art on a grand scale. But bring your wellies and pacamacs, it could get messy!

USE OF STYLE AND STORYTELLING IN "THE TALE OF ONE BAD RAT"
Slide show and talk by Bryan Talbot. This interesting and informative talk takes you behind the stylistic decisions involved in the creation of a graphic novel and the underlying storytelling techniques that inform the reading experience. Beginning with a quick tour of some of his early work, pointing out the use of different styles to project different atmospheres, Bryan proceeds to discuss the use of composition, eye level, colour and character charisma in his multi-award winning graphic novel.

A FINE DENNIS
Screenprinter John Patrick Reynolds is the first artist to secure a licence from Beano publishers DC Thomson to make gallery art out of Dennis the Menace. These prints have transferred from the first ever DtM art exhibition, at the London Print Studio in west London.
John will have an exhibition of his work at Comic Expo.

AROUND THE WORLD IN 80 PAGES
A look at international comics to celebrate the launch of The Essential Guide to World Comics (Collins & Brown, £18.99/$19.95). Authors Tim Pilcher and Brad Brooks host a slide show and panel discussion on comics from the far flung regions of the planet, covering lesser featured territories such as India, Africa, Scandinavia and South America. FREE JUNIOR ART WORKSHOPS
Nigel Dobbyn, artist on The Beano's Billy the Cat, Sonic the Comic, Digimon, Mr Bean, Power Rangers and more, will be holding several 90 minute free workshops across the weekend on character creation, basic cartooning, storytelling etc. They are aimed mainly at younger comic readers (8-12), but anyone is welcome as long as they're not expecting a masterclass! He introduces working with simple shapes to create faces, body types etc. and takes it from there...so bring the family!

Unauthorised And Proud Of It examines the life and death of San Diego publisher Todd Loren who spearheaded unauthorised comic book biographies of rock, pop and rap stars. Starting with Guns 'N' Roses in 1989 he was soon getting sued by New Kids On The Block and locking horns with the American comic book establishment. Loren was murdered in 1992 and with interviews with friends, colleagues and adversaries director Ilko Davidov explores this fascinating story.
